Photography

I'm a hobbyist photographer, entirely self-taught. Somewhere along the way, this little hobby found an audience. I'm now among the top 10% of global contributors on Unsplash, with over 28 million views.

Ask me… about photography principles and I probably can't explain them. I just do it for the love of it. I see a frame I like and I take it. I don't think about what it will become, and maybe that's the point: noticing something for no reason except that it pulled me in.

I mostly capture landscapes, nature, mountains, and quiet places. Every now and then, I get a little obsessed with capturing the moon or the sun, chasing that one frame I have in mind. For me, photography is less about getting everything right and more about noticing the things that make me stop and look.
